I'm very sorry that I haven't been writing as often as I should. I'm just overwhelmed with projects and transfering files from one host to the other.
So I thought I would make up for my lack of communication (and gifts) by giving you gifts for the 12 days of Christmas sort of. On day 1 you'll receive 1 gift. On day 2 you'll receive 2 gifts. One day 3 you'll receive 3 gifts, and so on and so forth...so on the 12th day, you'll get 12 highly valuable gifts.

November Update
Hi
I thought it was high time I send you an email (while I can) to update you on what the heck is going on.
I'm not sure where to begin...I guess I'll start with the server problems. For the past month my host, Host Department, has been experiencing technical difficulties. (Now here's an example of how NOT TO treat your customers). When my site first began acting up, I emailed them. They replied with a standard technical problem email. I'm assuming a technician didn't even bother to read it. After my sites were down for yet another 48 hours plus, I sent another email. This time I was told that the company had been experiencing diffiulties but that everything had been fixed. To make a very long story short, every 48 to 72 hours I was sending emails to my hosting company. Finally, 2 days ago I (and all their other clients I'm assumning) was sent an email explaining that their servers had been hacked, that they were working on repairing the damage and installing network wide firewalls and that they had no idea when the servers would be back online. So...I don't know when I'll be back online.
I am now in the process of looking for another host, but I really, really didn't want to have to move all my sites. There are literally hundreds of thousands of files that will require moving. It's too bad too. I was with Host Department for over 5 years.
I had finally set up a membership site for you guys. And now that's on hold as well. I buy quite a bit of "stuff" (don't you just love my technical jargon LOL) online, but more often than not, I can't GIVE it away, but I can sell it. So I decided to start a Master Resell Membership Site where I can offer my readers products that can't be given away but can be offered on a paid membership site.
I also have tons of gifts for you, but again, I can't upload them so I can't get them to you yet.
All the gifts I offered in several giveaways have been removed, for obvious reasons. I had great plans for a really cool offer for you for Halloween, plus some other goodies...but alas.
So you see, my host is causing me a great deal of stress and putting a real dent in my business.
But none of the above concerns you. I know you have troubles and concerns of your own. The only reason I'm burdening you with all this is because I believe I should always be honest and upfront with you and I feel I have a responsibility to my readers to let them know what's going on, and why I'm not living up to my promises.
I can't make any promises at this point, except one. I promise that when I finally get this hosting nonsense straightened out, I'll make all the delays downtime and missed offers up to you.
I'll keep you up to date as to my progress in getting back to business.

Do you have Google Adsense on your site? Do you make 'hundreds of dollars per day or even per month' with the program? I thought not. Neither do I. That's why, when I visit a site that's offering something to me for free, or when I'm waiting to download a product, I usually click on one or two of the web owner's Google Ads. It's my way of saying thanks.
We all need to help each other out as much as we can. It's difficult enough (for most of us anyway) to make a decent amount of money from our businesses, so I figure the least I can do is add a few cents to another marketer's pocket... especially since it isn't costing me anything.
Do you click other marketers' Google ads? Next time you're on someone's site that has PPC ads, just remember that you'd like them to click your ads, so be kind and click theirs. Remember, what goes around comes around. :-)

I usually spend the weekend reading and writing, but this weekend I spent it reading, writing, uploading and creating web pages.
Firefox Issues:
It seems that some readers using Firefox are unable to download any gifts as the links aren't working. I use I.E.7, so I'm not sure how to fix this problem, but I am working on it. I apologize to Firefox users for the inconvenience. I'll try to get this problem fixed ASAP.

When you visit the Secret Download Page (3) you'll notice a link for WP Padlock. I'm having one heck of a time getting this file uploaded. It's rather large so it takes literally hours to upload...and for the past 2 days, I'll get the file 1/2 or 3/4 uploaded and I'll lose my connection. This is very frustrating to say the least. But I'm stubborn, and no FTP or Internet Connection is going to get the better of me...so I will get it uploaded. If you try to download it and you get an error message, it's because I still haven't gotten it uploaded :-)
However, there are 4 other products that have been uploaded (without difficulty LOL). so take a peak and see if you need them.

A Very Surprising Recommendation:
I had resisted purchasing Ewen Chia's new Ebook, just because --to be perfectly honest here-- I'm sick of seeing his name everywhere and listening to how great he is. Which brings up a good point about marketing. You've probably heard that it takes something like 7 exposures to your ad, webpage, or whatever, before a prospective client or subscriber takes the action you want...but, when is it too much? Here's a true (and sort of silly) story about too much.
There used to be a commercial on TV advertising the bath product "Mr. Bubble." For quite some time I used the bubble bath for my kids until I saw the particular commercial I'm about to tell you about. In the TV ad, a grown man is in a tub full of bubbles (no water). I can't remember the entire commercial any more, but I think he floated up out of the tub, covered in bubbles, singing "Mr. Mr. Mr. Bubble." This commercial must have been on every channel 50 times a day.For whatever reason, I couldn't stand that commercial and because of it, I stopped buying the product because it reminded me of that stupid ad.... So, when is it too much? Or can it be too much online? I think so... My feelings toward Ewen Chia is an example.
Anyway, to keep this email from becoming a novel, I received an email from one of the newsletters I read often and in it was a review of a book. I was very impressed with the review and decided I wanted to read it. The title of the book, nor the author were mentioned. When I got to the sales page, I saw that it was The No Sale System Ebook by Ewen Chia. However, I was had already set my mind on buying it. So I did!. And I'm very, very glad I did because I learned things I hadn't known about making money AND about traffic generation. It's rare that I read an ebook these days that actually has new information that I haven't already learned about. But this one does.
So, after reading it through a couple of times, I thought it would be a really good book for you to read. Now you know I don't usually promote other people's products unless I think they'll help you in some way. And I think The No Sale System will help you earn some cash. You may not agree with all of the strategies Ewen provides, and there's one particular strategy that would cost $100. But since we can't afford this much on one campaign yet, we can skip that specific strategy and still get good results. For quite some time I used the bubble bath for my kids until I saw the particular commercial I'm about to tell you about. In the TV ad, a grown man is in a tub full of bubbles (no water). I can't remember the entire commercial any more, but I think he floated up out of the tub, covered in bubbles, singing "Mr. Mr. Mr. Bubble." This commercial must have been on every channel 50 times a day.For whatever reason, I couldn't stand that commercial and because of it, I stopped buying the product because it reminded me of that stupid ad.... So, when is it too much? Or can it be too much online? I think so... My feelings toward Ewen Chia is an example.
Anyway, to keep this email from becoming a novel, I received an email from one of the newsletters I read often and in it was a review of a book. I was very impressed with the review and decided I wanted to read it. The title of the book, nor the author were mentioned. When I got to the sales page, I saw that it was The No Sale System Ebook by Ewen Chia. However, I was had already set my mind on buying it. So I did!. And I'm very, very glad I did because I learned things I hadn't known about making money AND about traffic generation. It's rare that I read an ebook these days that actually has new information that I haven't already learned about. But this one does.
So, after reading it through a couple of times, I thought it would be a really good book for you to read. Now you know I don't usually promote other people's products unless I think they'll help you in some way. And I think The No Sale System will help you earn some cash. You may not agree with all of the strategies Ewen provides, and there's one particular strategy that would cost $100. But since we can't afford this much on one campaign yet, we can skip that specific strategy and still get good results. Okay, it's tme for us to get rid of the clutter so we can focus our attention on the important things...like creating and/or selling products, building our lists and generally, building our business.
Email is one of my biggest daily distractions. So I've devised a process for dealing with it... no not just trashing everything LOL
Out of 200 plus emails I get every day, I read probably less than 10 percent. I just don't feel that reading over 100 promotions for one product or another a valuable or productive use of my time. I scan through most of the emails, immediately answer any regarding support questions or concerns, personal ones, or other emails from readers or clients. I then delete all the ones that I know are hawking the same product, peek into the few that look interesting and may have some actual content, news or updates, and partially read the emails I'm truly interested in...but here's the part that might be helpful for you. Becuase I (and I'd bet you too) have so much to do every day, I save those emails that have content, updates, and yes some that have offers I'm interested in, as text files to an 'Interesting Email' file in my documents. There are several reasons I do this.
1. I can read them later when I have more time and I won't have to open my email client to do so...which is good because as soon as I open Outlook Express, I start going through the email again.
2. If there is an interesting article, tip or suggestion, I transfer it to a swipe file where I later go in search of article or other info product ideas.

3. I give myself the time to mull over any purchases I may be contemplating. I tend to act too quickly and after I make a purchase find the product somewhere cheaper, or realize that I purchased it through a package. By putting the offer away for a while, it gives me time to check these things, and to decide if I really need to make the purchase.

Can you believe we're already 5 days into 2009? Time flies doesn't it. Before we know it, it'll be Chrsitmas again.
You might want to get yourself cup of tea or coffee and find a comfortable way to sit...'cause this is going to be a long email... I know you probably like getting long emails about as much as I do (which isn't much LOL) because we get so many.
Anyway...I'll try not to ramble on too much (but I can't promise I won't).
I haven't spoke with you since before Christmas, so I hope you had a great holiday. Mine was very pleasant...quiet, relaxing and full of surprises (the good ones). I took advantage of the holidays to get some work done...to try to catch up.
I've uploaded several new gifts to the secret download page. I uploaded a book -which isn't really a book- that I think we all need to download, print out and follow. It's a planning calendar. This year, we're going to get ourselves organized, plan out what we need to do to reach our goals... AND STICK TO IT! Hopefully, no scratch that...For certain, we'll have made 100 times more from our businesses than we did in 2008.
